INSURANCE JOBS
Damage to your yacht from grounding, collision, docking,
fire, vandalism, the mast breaking or a natural disaster can
be very stressful and time
consuming.
You have to deal with detailing the damage, contacting the
insurance company, trying to figure out how the damage will
be repaired, what parts need to be replaced, what it will
all cost and whether the insurance
company will pay for the repairs and if so how much.
It is often difficult to get your insurance company to
respond quickly.
Adjustors and surveyors sent by the insurance company may
have a built in bias for the underwriters and don’t always
understand the full extent, ramifications and costs of what
is required to get your yacht back into proper condition.
You need an advocate that will carefully inspect the damage
and prepare an accurate and knowledgeable quotation for the
repairs including all the related work, purchases, storage
and logistics involved.

quotations

MACHINE SHOP SERVICES
“How the heck do I get a new one of these?”
Things break, they get lost, or you just need a specific
piece to complete a project. Might not even be for a boat.
Most marine equipment and parts are made from a limited
production run or are custom made. When yachts or their
equipment go out of
production it becomes hard or impossible to get many
replacement parts or components such as gears for old
winches, struts, special
fasteners, rudder bearings, stanchion bases, and brackets,
to name
just a few.
A new custom fitting may be the answer to a nagging problem,
or offer a great improvement in operations. Custom made
machined parts are the only way to reproduce these items.
Marine Solutions can fabricate and provide custom made
machined fittings and parts to very low
tolerances.
We can produce custom fittings from materials that include
various alloys of steel and stainless steel, aluminum,
brass, bronze, titanium, Delran and high molecular plastics,
to name a few. Some custom parts need to be fabricated from
a combination of machined and welded materials.
Fabrication can be made from plans or from templates,
specifications
or by duplicating an original.
When you can’t source it, let Marine Solutions build it. |
