Marine Solutions offers complete refinishing services
including varnishing, painting, LP spray painting, teak and
wood sealers, and gel coat touch up and re-spraying. We have
the mobile capability and equipment to work at your location
or when it is more practical and efficient we can do the
refinishing work at our Glen Cove location. |

Painting |

traditional brush painting for wooden boats and
small projects and spray painting for complete deck
and hull painting and racing bottom finishes.

Varnish |
Producing a high
quality varnish finish is a special art in itself.
All of the techniques for painting and general
refinishing are required and then a little magic has
to be added to produce that special depth of shine,
smoothness and glow in superbly varnished wood.
We know how to touch up and re-coat your wood to
make it look as nice as possible or to strip off the
old finish, prep and re-coat for spectacular

| Cetol
|
We can apply
Cetol or equivalent products that are similar to
varnish but not as dramatic and glossy.
Preparation and application requires less time and
detail and the resulting finish is very long
lasting.
This type of coating is an
economical and lower maintenance alternative to
traditional varnish work. |

| Gel
Coat |
If you have
crazing, cracks, chips or gouges in your
fiberglass hull or deck, we can fill and fair, and
then
apply color-matched gel coat to repair. After this
we
wet sand, compound and wax to make a smooth and
high gloss surface. |
