FACILITIES:
Marine Solutions is located in a four building complex
shared by like-minded cooperating professionals. The
combined facilities include indoor building work and storage
areas, complete machine shop, engine and mechanical testing
equipment, complete wood working shop, welding facilities,
and outdoor storage areas.
Currently there is an 80’
maxi racing sailboat and some smaller boats being worked on
and converted on our property.
Marine Solutions makes use of trucks, vans and workboats for
providing professional marine services at your yacht’s
location. We can and do go far afield for larger jobs or to
provide emergency service to our customers. We can provide
tools and equipment at your location including
mobile generators, air compressors, air and power tools,
spray equipment,
vacuum pumps, rigging tools, welding
equipment, HVAC equipment and many other specialty items.

HARRY HUNT
 The
owner and manager of Marine Solutions has had a colorful and
multi-disciplined career traversing several different
industries. His unique skill set allows him to approach
every task creatively.
Harry was director and chief
designer of research and development for a high quality
mountaineering equipment and technical gear firm, and also
operated a high end camping equipment store in New York
City. After he performed a major renovation and refit on his
50’ cruising ketch he decided to take advantage of his
combined knowledge and experience and start Marine Solutions
to offer yacht owners a unique full spectrum mobile marine
service.
Harry is a dichotomy.
He is a traditionalist who loves restoring and repairing all
types of old wooden and classic boats and quality yachts. He
has completed some beautiful restorations.
Harry is also fascinated by new technological advances in
engines and propulsion, boat building repair techniques and
materials, electronics and energy management, and green
energy creation to name just a few. He is constantly
exploring new products and new high tech
companies to find the latest and greatest products to offer
his clients.
In recent years Harry has become deeply involved with some
interesting “off the grid” and alternative green energy
projects. The experience and knowledge gained from these
projects translates into Marine Solutions being able to
offer sophisticated and efficient energy management system
design and installations for your yacht, home or business.
Harry has cultivated a group of experienced professional
technicians and craftsmen in the Marine Solutions team. This
allows him to make use of one of his special traits:
matching the right man and assembling the right team for any
given job or product. Harry loves his work and brings
enthusiasm to every task he approaches. He is rightfully
very proud of what he and his team have accomplished.
